Spearheaded by BPC member Nick Ellis, the Workforce Development Committee was formed in 2017. Leveraging BPC’s broad and diverse membership, the Committee is working to promote industrial economic development in the San Francisco Bay region. This includes collaborating with other organizations at the regional, state, and federal levels, to secure workforce development funds and grants for BPC members to bolster their local workforce.
Industrial economic development is aligned with BPC’s mission to advance a strong industrial economy that supports a sustainable environment within San Francisco Bay and its watershed.
