On Friday, September 13th, the Bay Planning Coalition (BPC) hosted its 12th annual Energy & Water Nexus event, bringing together industry leaders, government agencies, environmental advocates, and community stakeholders. This forum provided an invaluable platform for exploring the projects, innovations, and policy developments shaping the future of California’s energy and water industries.
The event featured three insightful segments, addressing key issues such as infrastructure resilience, regulatory shifts, and operational strategies employed by regional utilities. From discussing California’s achievements to learning strategic insights from regional utilities, it was evident that collaboration is key in driving a sustainable future.
BPC was honored to welcome Nancy Vogel, Deputy Secretary for Water with the California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA), as the keynote speaker. Her address highlighted the importance of building a more resilient and adaptive California in the face of climate change.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all attendees, speakers, and sponsors for their invaluable support and engagement. For more details on the event and to explore this year’s discussions, please refer to the event overview below.
