Greetings!
We invite you to the first public workshop for Bay Adapt: Regional Strategy for a Rising Bay, which will take place online on Thursday, April 16th (10 AM to 12 PM).
Rising sea levels will dramatically affect our way of life in the Bay Area. BAY ADAPT: Regional Strategy for a Rising Bay is an initiative to establish regional agreement on the actions necessary to protect our people and the natural and built environment from rising sea levels. Through this collaborative action-setting initiative, Bay Area regional, local and community leadership will identify, deliberate and commit to a set of shared actions that will allow the Bay Area to adapt better and adapt faster to a rising Bay.
This first Public Stakeholder Forum will shape the overall process by seeking broad stakeholder participation and input. Thank you for your interest in participating in this first public forum!
Please see the Workshop Agenda and RSVP by clicking the registration link below. Please register by close of business on Tuesday, April 14th.
Feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any questions by emailing BCDC’s Environmental Justice Manager, Nahal Ghoghaie at nahal.ghoghaie@bcdc.ca.gov
Thank you for your attention and response, and we look forward to discussing this important effort with you at the Kick-Off Workshop next week!
Sincerely,
BCDC, on behalf of Bay Adapt collaborators
