Next week Tuesday, the Californiafirst financial coalition is hosting a workshop on critical infrastructure. There will be presenters from power, water, telecom, and transportation who will be sharing insights into their respective infrastructures, including possible vulnerabilities during disasters and restoration considerations.
Californiafirst is opening the remaining seats to non-member colleagues. In addition to gaining insights into infrastructure interdependencies and vulnerabilities, this will also be a great opportunity to network with BC and emergency management professionals, as well as strategic partners including San Francisco Department of Emergency Management and Northern California Regional Intelligence Center.
Presenters
- Michael Mathews, Regional Emergency Transportation Representative for Region IX, USDOT Office of Intelligence, Security, and Emergency Response
- Steven Frew, Manager of Security and Emergency Preparedness, East Bay Municipal Utility District
- Greg Molnar, Business Analysis and Strategic Development, PG&E
- Verizon, presenter still being finalized after a change
