Submersed Aquatic Vegetation Control Program 
Brazilian Waterweed (Egeria densa),
Curly-leaf Pondweed (Potamogeton crispus),
Eurasian Watermilfoil (Myriophyllum spicatum),
Fanwort (Cabomba caroliniana), and
Coontail (Ceratophyllum demersum)

Treatment for September 24 through September 28, 2018
 
 
 
Herbicide treatment of invasive submersed aquatic vegetation will begin on 
March 12,2018 in various areas of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.

Diquat (Diquat Bromide) will be used in site 93 
on September 25.
Fluridone (Sonar) will be used in sites 97, 108, 109, & 272 from September 24 through September 28.

  • Applications will be conducted anytime during the hours of 7am to 4pm weekly, Monday thru Friday.  
  • Herbicide applications during the time frame will utilize Fluridone (Sonar) only.
