The Bay Planning Coalition (BPC) sent a letter to Secretary Anthony Foxx of the United States Department of Transportation in support of the Fostering Advancements in Shipping and Transportation for Long-term Achievements of National Efficencies, or FASTLANE, grant program.
BPC is a nonprofit member organization that advocates for sustainable commerce, industry, infrastructure, recreation and the natural environment in the San Francisco Bay watershed. In working closely with the Port of Oakland and regional government bodies, such as Alameda CTC, BPC hopes to improve goods movement throughout the region, and views the FASTLANE grant program as a key project related to that goal.
