This is a message from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley (5).A new version of the Water Quality Control Plan for the Sacramento River and San Joaquin River Basins (Basin Plan) has been posted on the Central Valley Water Board’s website at:
The new version of the Basin Plan includes the amendment to remove the municipal and domestic supply beneficial use (MUN) from twelve constructed and/or modified water bodies in the Sacramento River Basin. This amendment was adopted by the Central Valley Water Board in April 2015 under Resolution R5-2015-0022 became effective on 21 April 2016.
