This is a message from the State Water Resources Control Board
The Notice of Proposed Emergency Rulemaking and the Emergency Regulation Digest for the Proposed Emergency Regulation that will be considered by the State Water Board at its May 18, 2016 meeting have been posted online at: http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/waterrights/water_issues/programs/drought/emergency_mandatory_regulations.shtml.
The These documents follow the proposed text of the emergency regulation and other supporting documents that were posted earlier. The Notice of Proposed Emergency Rulemaking formally initiates the emergency rulemaking process pursuant to the Government Code; this Notice does not change the previously identified comment period that will conclude on May 16, 2016 at 12 noon. All comments must be received by 12 noon on Monday, May 16, 2016, and will not be accepted after that time. Submitting comments by the close of business on Friday May 13 is recommended to provide the State Water Board Members more time to consider your input.

Comment letters may be submitted electronically in pdf text format (less than 15 megabytes in total size) to the Clerk of the Board via e-mail atcommentletters@waterboards.ca.gov. If the file is greater than 15 megabytes in total size, then the comment letter may be submitted by fax at (916) 341-5620. All comments should indicate on the subject line: “May 18, 2016 BOARD MEETING (Conservation Extended Emergency Regulation)”.
