On November 19th, 2024, Bay Planning Coalition hosted our 2024 CEQA and Regulatory Update Briefing. This engaging program delved into the complexities of CEQA reform, recent case developments, and practical tools for streamlining CEQA processes.

Assemblymember Buffy Wicks, representing California’s 14th Assembly District, delivered a compelling keynote address. As Chair of the Select Committee on Permitting Reform, Assemblymember Wicks shared insights into how permitting impacts critical sectors such as housing, climate resilience, and clean energy.
