Notice of Request to Modify and Renew a Temporary Urgency Change Order for SWP and CVP for July through November

This is a message from the State Water Resources Control Board.

This notice is to advise interested persons that the State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) has posted a public notice of a Temporary Urgency Change Petition (TUCP) filed by the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) and the United States Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) regarding permits and license of the State Water Project (SWP) and the federal Central Valley Project (CVP).  The TUCP requests to modify water right requirements of the SWP and CVP to meet Bay-Delta flow and water quality requirements. The TUCP, which was filed on May 21, 2015, can be found on the State Water Board’s website at:  http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/waterrights/water_issues/programs/drought/docs/tucp/2015/tucp052115.pdf.

In order to be fully considered before the State Water Board takes action on the TUCP, objections filed in response to this notice should be submitted by Wednesday, June 17, 2015.  Objections submitted after that date will be accepted, but should be received by the State Water Board no later than Monday, July 6, 2015.
