At its meeting on February 21st, the BPC Board of Directors voted to officially endorse the Water Supply and Water Quality Act of the 2018 (Water Bond). This bond, which will appear on the California state ballot this November, will provide $8.877 billion for water supply and infrastructure efforts, including but not limited to wastewater treatment and recycling, watershed improvements and restoration, groundwater desalination, flood control, safe drinking water, and more. The Water Bond has already been endorsed by a number of water agencies, businesses, members of Congress, conservation groups, and many others.
