This is a message from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, San Francisco Bay Region (2).
The Water Board is considering approval of Santa Clara County’s Local Agency Management Plan (LAMP) for Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems. The LAMP is applicable to all OWTS in Santa Clara County. Approval of the LAMP will find that the LAMP is in compliance with the State Water Board’s 2012 OWTS Policy, and authorize Santa Clara County Department of Environmental Health to permit and regulate OWTS within the County in accord with the LAMP. Water Board staff have prepared a Memorandum describing the matter and recommending approval of the LAMP. Written comments on the proposed action must be submitted no later than December 10, 2015, by 5:00 p.m.
