This is an update on the “Evaluation of the Municipal and Domestic Supply (MUN) Beneficial Use in Ag Dominated Surface Water Bodies” project. Thank you to those of you who attended our January 14th stakeholder meeting. Meeting notes have been posted on our website.
Below is a reminder about a few important dates coming up for the two Basin Plan Amendments:
Basin Plan Amendment to Remove MUN from 12 Water Bodies in the Sacramento River Basin
- Board Hearing – February 6, 2015 in Rancho Cordova (Agenda)
- Comment Deadline – February 20, 2015 (Draft Staff Report)
- Board Hearing to consider adoption – April (16/17) 2015 in Fresno
Basin Plan Amendment to establish a Region-wide MUN Evaluation Process:
- Stakeholder Meeting – SAVE THE DATE for Friday February 20, 2015 from 9 am – 12 pm in Rancho Cordova (Agenda and meeting material will be sent out as soon as possible)
- Board Workshop – April (16/17) 2015 in Fresno
