Delta Areawide Aquatic Weed Control Project Meeting August 28th in Stockton

Dear Delta Researchers, Natural Resource Agencies, Governmental Representatives, and Delta Organizations Representing Boaters, Farmers, Businesses, and Residents:

This is a reminder that there will be a meeting on Friday, August 28th in Stockton to provide updates on the progress and plans for the USDA-Agricultural Research Service, Areawide Project for the Integrated Management of Aquatic Weeds in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. 

This meeting will be held at the Robert J. Cabral Building (Assembly Room 1), San Joaquin County Agricultural Center, 2101 E. Earhart Ave., Suite 100, Stockton, CA 95206 

There is plenty of free parking adjacent to the building.

At this meeting, federal and university scientists and state agencies who are carrying out the Delta Areawide Project on aquatic weed control will provide updates on their efforts to develop and implement new and improved ways to detect and control invasive aquatic weeds in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, to reduce their  environmental and economic impacts. 

Coffee and light refreshments will be available at 8:30 AM. The meeting agenda will begin at 9:00 AM. We will conclude by 12:15 PM.
