Contra Costa Transportation Authority Public Scoping Meeting – August 24, 2015

The Contra Costa Transportation Authority (the Authority) prepared a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (SEIR) for the 2014 Countywide Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) in September of 2014 (SCH #2014042045). The Authority postponed their scheduled March 2015 certification process on that SEIR and consideration of approval of the 2014 CTP, and now intends to proceed with a re-circulated Draft Subsequent EIR.  The Notice of Preparation for the Recirculated Draft SEIR is available on the Authority’s website at http://www.ccta.net/sources/detail/11/1.

The “Project” to be analyzed in this Recirculated Draft Subsequent EIR includes certain revisions to the list of transportation projects as included in prior 2014 CTP that are now being considered by the Authority, as well as various financially constrained transportation investment options that may help inform the ultimate composition of the Authority’s potential Transportation Expenditure Plan (TEP).  The results of this CEQA analysis will be provided to the public, responsible trustee and other agencies and stakeholders.

The Authority will hold a public scoping meeting to receive oral comments concerning the scope of the recirculated Draft SEIR (agenda attached). The meeting will be held on August 24, 2015, 4:00 p.m. at the Authority’s offices located at 2999 Oak Road, Suite 100 in Walnut Creek, California 94597. Please see the attachments below for full information.
