SF Bay Sea Level Rise on the PBS News Hour

This is highly-recommended viewing for all:  8 minutes on the News Hour on San Francisco Bay wetlands restoration and sea level rise, featuring project manager John Bourgeois, CA DFW’s John Kraus, flood challenges in Alviso, and much more.

And take one more minute for this bonus feature on the critical transition zone marsh areas.

As you know, this zone is a focus of the current Baylands Ecosystem Habitat Goals Update.  It’s also where where Save The Bay’s habitat restoration program is mobilizing thousands of volunteers each year to grow and install native plants to benefit endangered species in the face of sea level rise.
