ACWA Spring Conference & Exhibition Focuses on Drought Challenges and Solutions
With historic drought conditions facing the state many of our public agencies are literally “running on empty.” Unless we see some sort of miracle, there will likely be significant impacts on the state’s communities, economy and environment in the coming months, and potentially into next year. This conference will host an array of program sessions designed to help your water agency meet these critical challenges that we are all facing.
Federal and state leaders are being invited to deliver keynote speeches. Program session topics currently being planned include: water storage, financial impacts of the drought, groundwater management, energy issues, Chrom-6, and the water bond. There will also be legal, finance, energy, CDPH operator contact hours, and human resources programs scheduled for professionals seeking continuing education credits.
