Join us in welcoming Tim Rimpo.  As Director of our Air and Noise Technical Service Group and Air Quality Program Manager, Tim’s depth of experience conducting air quality and climate change impact and planning studies translates into realistic and cost-effective approaches to meet our clients’ air quality regulatory obligations.

Tim brings 28 years of experience partnering with clients to prepare air and greenhouse gas emissions inventories, air permits, health risk assessments and CEQA/NEPA documentation. He has worked on residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, industrial and energy facilities, water infrastructure projects, and transportation projects and plans. Tim collaborated with the California Air Pollution Control Officers Association to develop potential greenhouse gas (GHG) thresholds that could be used for CEQA documents and GHG/Climate Change policies that could be incorporated into General Plans. He developed a software tool for the Bay Area Air Quality Management District that can be used to estimate GHG emissions for projects subject to CEQA and NEPA.  Tim also worked with Caltrans to identify approaches for evaluating GHG impacts from transportation projects.

Tim joins our growing team of more than 300 environmental planners and scientists who bring proven experience providing technical excellence and integrated solutions along the west coast.
