Port and City of Oakland Submit Federal Grant

Last week the Port and City of Oakland, together, applied for a Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) grant through the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) in the amount of $40 million. The grant will help fund the first phase of the redevelopment of the former Oakland Army Base (OAB) into a world class trade and logistics center.  Continue reading the latest press release.
