Banishing Business Bias
|
The nuances of effective decision-making in an increasingly diverse professional world will play center stage in the North Bay Leadership Council’s annual Economic Insight Conference. “Each year is a different issue around the economy,” said Cynthia Murray, president and CEO of NBLC. “This year is a bit of a different approach. A lot of us have prejudices, biases, fears we’re not aware of. Sometimes, it influences the decisions we make, versus the facts and data. It’s even more important now as we work across generations and across cultures. So trusting your gut when making decisions isn’t always a good idea!” This conference explains why that is true.
