We are seeking an accomplished fund development professional with both broad and deep fundraising experience. Successful candidates will have experience with a wide array of fundraising strategies, and particular strength in working with high level donors, board members and leadership volunteers. A record of successful collaboration with of marketing and media professionals is also required. The Director of Development and Marketing manages 9 professional staff, and joins a senior team of collegial professionals who are some of the best in the world at what they do.
Based in the Marin Headlands, in Sausalito, The Center operates field stations on the California coastline from San Luis Obispo through Mendocino County, and is completing construction of a new facility in Kona, Hawaii. With an annual operating budget of $6M, 50 staff and 1,100 actively engaged volunteers, The Center operates 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.”
