HOLIDAY APPRECIATION GIFTS for YOU!

New Interactive map resource section now available on our website!

We so appreciate all you do for the Joint Venture community, wetlands and wildlife in the Bay Area!

Just in time for the holidays and thanks to our collaborative efforts with the San Francisco Estuary Institute (SFEI) and Charles Fox, website manager extraordinaire,  we now have a new interactive projects map and resources section on our website.

The Active and Completed Habitat Projects Map shows information about hundreds of restoration, enhancement and acquisition projects. It’s an intermediary step as we make progress toward our new and improved project tracking system which will go live as part of EcoAtlas in the Spring!   For now, we encourage you to enjoy and share this interim product and invite you to let us know what you think!

The updated resources section has been organized by types of reportsnewsletters and/or conservation management & planning tools AND offers a new economic values of wetlands  section which houses many of the latest studies relating to wetland ecosystem services and their values to people and communities.  Whether it be about job creation, natural capital, recreation or intrinsic value, this new section offers a glimpse at the burgeoning world of estimating the values of restoration and the ecosystem services of healthy, functioning wetlands.
