Join us in welcoming Brian Boxer, AICP. Brian’s expertise is at the nexus of the environmental compliance and the community and regional planning processes. Bridging these two efforts, Brian will focus on sustainable solutions and living plans that proactively shape and benefit the communities where we live and work. 

Brian has dedicated his career to advancing leadership and creative, enduring solutions for urban and environmental planning projects. He is known for strategically addressing the complex technical and political issues of urban development, sustainability, and resource allocation clearly and efficiently with a focus on technological innovation and legal defensibility. Brian brings more than 30 years of experience guiding clients through complex state and local planning processes on noteworthy projects including the Railyards Specific Plan EIR in Sacramento, University Community Plan and EIR in Merced, the Land Use and Circulation Element EIR in Santa Monica, and the Stanford Sand Hill Road Projects EIR in Palo Alto. He is a noted expert in the strategic design of CEQA documents to facilitate project planning and implementation. He is also an experienced and skilled facilitator of public involvement programs related to major public development and infrastructure projects. Brian’s award-winning work has been recognized by the Association of Environmental Professionals and the American Planning Association.

Brian joins our growing team of more than 300 environmental planners and scientists who bring proven experience providing environmental documentation, permitting, and monitoring in support of community development efforts throughout California.
