Dear Bay Area Community,

In January 2017, the Air District will release Spare the Air, Cool the Climate (2017 Plan), which will serve as a blueprint for clean air and climate protection in the Bay Area.

The Draft 2017 Plan identifies 85 strategies for the Air District and the Bay Area to pursue over the next few years and beyond to reduce air pollution and protect public health and the global climate.

Mark your calendars for one of our upcoming open houses! We look forward to hearing your thoughts about the bold vision of our first-ever regional climate protection plan and our new clean air strategies. This is an opportunity to make your voice heard before the plan goes to our board for adoption later in the year.

Event flyers in several languages and more information about the draft plan will be available on our website in early January.
