Update on Board Workshop and Public Comment Period for SWRCB/OCC File A-2239(a)-(c)

SWRCB/OCC File A-2239(a)-(c): Update regarding Board workshop and public comment period

On February 8, 2016, the State Water Resources Control Board released a proposed order in the above matter and announced a Board workshop and written public comment period.  Thereafter, in a letter dated February 25, 2016, the State Water Board postponed the date of the Board workshop and extended the deadline for submission of written comments.

This message informs interested persons that the State Water Board intends to send out a second revised notice next week, further postponing the Board workshop and extending the public comment period.  The Board workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at the Cal/EPA Building, 1001 I Street, in Sacramento.   The State Water Board expects to extend the written public comment period deadline to approximately two weeks after the May 4^th Board workshop.   The State Water Board will additionally schedule a second Board workshop to be held in Fresno and is currently working to finalize the date and venue for that workshop.

A Second Revised Transmittal letter with the new date for the Sacramento Board workshop, the new deadline for written public comments, and a date for the Fresno Board workshop will be released as soon as the details have been finalized.  The Second Revised Transmittal Letter will also be posted athttp://www.swrcb.ca.gov/public_notices/petitions/water_quality/a2239_sanjoaquin_ag.shtml
