This is a message from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley (5).
The attached document is a Notice of Informational Item concerning the basin planning effort to establish a region-wide process for evaluating the Municipal and Domestic Supply (MUN) beneficial use in agriculturally dominated surface water bodies. This informational item is scheduled for the next Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board Meeting at the end of July. Board Staff will provide an update to the Board on the development of the Proposed Amendment, with a focus on the preliminary options for a proposed LIMITED-MUN beneficial use designation.
