This is a message from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley (5).
Click here to view the Notice of Public Hearing concerning an amendment to the water quality control plan for the Sacramento River and San Joaquin River Basins to remove the Municipal and Domestic supply (MUN) beneficial use in twelve constructed and/or modified water bodies in the Sacramento River Basin that receive treated municipal wastewater from the cities of Biggs, Colusa, Live Oak or Willows.
The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board’s environmental review of the proposed Basin Plan Amendment is contained in a draft Staff Report, which is considered to be “substitute environmental documentation” or “SED”, and which will be posted on the website (below) along with the proposed Basin Plan Amendment no later than 5 January 2015:

Copies of the proposed Basin Plan Amendment and draft SED also can be obtained by contacting or visiting the Central Valley Water Board’s office at 11020 Sun Center Drive, #200, Rancho Cordova, California 95670-6114, on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The public and other agencies are invited to submit written comments on the proposed Basin Plan Amendment and draft SED from 5 January 2015 through 20 February 2015.
The Central Valley Water Board has scheduled a hearing on the following dates to receive oral comments regarding the proposed Basin Plan Amendment and draft SED:
