Tour the Silicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center and learn what’s new in water efficiency and industrial storm water management.
Weiss Associates takes part in a discussion of water efficiency and storm water management alongside the Santa Clara Valley Water District and the City of San Jose. The event, hosted by the Pacific Industrial and Business Association, will be followed by a tour of theSilicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center, the largest advanced water purification plant in Northern California. This state-of-the-art facility takes treated wastewater that would have been discharged into the San Francisco Bay and purifies it by microfiltration, reverse osmosis, and ultraviolet light. The plant is designed to produce up to eight million gallons per day of highly purified water that is expected to match California primary drinking water standards.
