CASA Implements New CASA Connects Newsletter
|
|
Starting this month, CASA will begin sending out the CASA Connects Newsletter once every two weeks to all members. The newsletter will continue to include the latest information on program, membership, events, legislative, policy and regulatory issues. In addition, CASA has revamped the newsletter into a simpler and cleaner format. The newsletter will provide members with a more reader friendly browsing option through its table of content titled, “In This Issue.”

Federal officials, including DEA Administrator Michele M. Leonhart, Acting Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) Director Michael Botticelli, and United States Attorney for Vermont Tristram Coffin announced the release of final regulations to promote the safe return of pharmaceuticals. CARB Releases Response to Comments on LCFS

CASA recently provided comments on the Low Carbon Fuel Standard in regard to methane anaerobically digested wastewater sludge that is converted to transportation fuel. Read more

| Call for Applications: CASA Achievement Awards |
| CASA Agencies still have the opportunity to obtain recognition for their successful program and projects. The Awards Committee has extended the deadline to submit applications for the CASA Achievement Awards to October 31, 2014. Due to the change in schedule, the award winners will be announced at the CASA Winter Conference in January rather than August, as the Association as traditionally done. Apply today! |
