2014 CASA Public Policy Forum

Sheraton Grand Sacramento

April 28-29, 2014

This year CASA hosts its first Public Policy Forum where we ask our members to make the trek to Sacramento and directly impact state public policy by meeting in person, face-to-face, with legislators and regulators as part of an organized event.  Built on the success of CASA’s Washington, D.C. Conference and the premise that no voice carries more weight with elected officials than your own, this will be your agency’s opportunity to be heard in Sacramento.

In the era of term limits, it is more important than ever for your agency to establish a line of communication and develop a relationship with your State Senators, Assembly Members and State regulators.

Registration is now open for the 2014 CASA Public Policy Forum.  CASA has identified a number of influential leaders, key staff members and political “insiders” to address the attendees. On Monday afternoon, April 28, 2014, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in Capitol visits set up by CASA or small group sessions with key regulators on specific issues of interest. A preliminary program is now available.

The new Public Policy Forum is a hallmark of proactive efforts to better represent our members as we establish CASA as the most respected, credible and influential voice on clean water and renewable resource issues facing California’s public wastewater community.

CASA has secured a group rate of $165 plus tax for attendees at the Sheraton.  Book your hotel stay either online or by calling the Sheraton Central Reservation Services. The special room rate ends Friday, April 7 and is subject to availability.
