Water Education Foundation

 

Designed as a program for working professionals, participation involves a time commitment from both the class member and the employer.

 

Class requirements include:

 

  *   Attending a January orientation

  *   Attending two Foundation water tours

  *   Attending the Foundation’s March 27 Executive Briefing

  *   Shadowing and interviewing your mentor

  *   Developing a class report and presentation on your topic

 

Alumni say it’s well-worth it: 100% said they would recommend the Water Leaders Class to a colleague.

Apply by December 13 for the 2014 Water Leaders Class 

 

The Foundation is now taking applications for its 2014 Water Leaders Class. This one-year program offers up-and-coming community leaders the opportunity to learn about key water topics – and have some fun!

 

The program enhances individual leadership skills and prepares participants to take an active, cooperative approach to decision-making about water resource issues. Leading stakeholders and top policymakers serve as mentors to class members.

 

The deadline to apply is December 13.

 

Tuition for 2014 is $3,500. A limited number of scholarships are available.
