CASA Spring Conference Filled with Educational Opportunities

With only two weeks remaining before the 2013 CASA Spring conference be sure to register now! The conference program was developed to prepare clean water governing officials and staff for the oversight and management of the “Utility of Tomorrow.” Speakers, panelists and facilitators are preparing to share thoughts and strategies on a variety of challenges and opportunities for the future. New to CASA’s Spring Conference are roundtable discussions on issues dealing with governance, management and technical and operations. To encourage an open dialogue and free flow of ideas, the roundtables will be held at the Irvine Ranch Water District’s San Joaquin Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary. Transportation will be provided, dress is casual and a networking reception at the sanctuary will follow the roundtables. Hosted tours will be available for guests. Wondering who may be at your roundtable? A current attendee list is available.

CASA is excited to highlight Friday’s morning program, which will include experts on the Affordable Care Act and changes to public pension packages following the recent reform legislation. This closing session is a must attend for all directors and managers who will be responsible for making vital decisions on employee benefit packages in the future.
