SUBMERSED AQUATIC VEGETATION CONTROL PROGRAM

 

Brazilian Waterweed (Egeria densa), 

Curly-leaf Pondweed (Potamogeton crispus), 

Eurasian Watermilfoil (Myriophyllum spicatum), 

Fanwort (Cabomba caroliniana) and

Coontail (Ceratophyllum demersum)

Treatments for July 29 through August 2, 2019

 

 

 

Herbicide treatment of invasive submersed aquatic vegetation will begin on April 8, 2019 in various areas of the Sacramento -San Joaquin Delta. For more information see the Public Notice.

 

Treatments may not occur in some or all sites due to weather conditions, and growth stage of the aquatic invasive plants.

 

Diquat will be used in site 109 (Sandmound Slough) in the table listed below.

Fluridone (Sonar) will be used in the sites listed in the table listed below.

  • Treatments will be conducted weekly, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Herbicide applications during the treatment period will utilize Fluridone (Sonar) only.
