2019 Triennial Review of the Water Quality Control Plan for Ocean Waters of California (California Ocean Plan)

State Water Resources Control Board This is a message from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, San Francisco Bay Region (2).
Dear Interested Parties,
 
The State Water Resources Control Board has commenced the 2019 Triennial Review of the Water Quality Control Plan for Ocean Waters of California (California Ocean Plan).  Triennial reviews of Water Quality Control Plans are required by the Clean Water Act section 303(c)(1) and U.S. EPA Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations, section 131.20.  The purpose of the triennial review of the California Ocean Plan is to identify and prioritize projects to modify or adopt new standards in order to keep pace with changes in regulation, new technologies, policies, and changes along the coast.
 
The State Water Resources Control Board is planning to hold public workshops for the 2019 Ocean Plan Triennial Review in southern, central, and northern California during Fall and Winter of 2018.
