This is a message from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, San Francisco Bay Region (2).
A tentative order for Waste Discharge Requirements for the Permanente site is being considered. If adopted, the order will regulate waste and activities that generate wastes, which have the potential to impact State waters, including groundwater (excluding those regulated by other Water Board orders, e.g., ponds which are covered under the site’s NPDES permit).
The document can be found at https://www.waterboards.ca.gov/sanfranciscobay/board_decisions/tentative_orders.html
The tentative order is scheduled to be considered by the Water Board at its regular meeting on June 12, 2018. The hearing will be held at:
Elihu Harris State Building
First Floor Auditorium
June 12, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.
Comments on the tentative order must be submitted in writing to this office no later than May 17, 2018 by 5 PM. Comments received after the deadline may not be considered. Questions regarding this matter should be directed to Lindsay Whalin at (510) 622-2363 or lwhalin@waterboards.ca.gov.
