This is a message from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley (5).
The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Central Valley Water Board) will hold a public workshop on 17 August 2016 to discuss potential amendments to the Water Quality Control Plans for the Sacramento River and San Joaquin River Basins and the Tulare Lake Basin to Support the Central Valley Salinity Alternatives for Long-Term Sustainability (CV-SALTS) Initiative.
The additional material (Water Body Categorization Report Template and the Year-Round and Seasonally Closed Recirculating System Report Outlines) provide additional information to form the basis for workshop discussions on the proposed Basin Plan Amendment to establish a process for determining the appropriate designation and level of protection of the Municipal and Domestic Supply (MUN) in agriculturally dominated water bodies.
