This is a message from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley (5).
The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Central Valley Water Board) will hold a public workshop on June 22, 2016 focused on the Central Valley-wide Salt and Nitrate Management Plan (SNMP) implementation framework and policy recommendations. A Notice of Public Workshop was previously distributed on 23 May 2016 and contained a version of the SNMP’s Executive Summary that had been developed by a subset of CV-SALTS stakeholders.
Click here to view the version of the SNMP Executive Summary that was provided for and publicly discussed at the CV-SALTS Executive Committee meeting on 12 May 2016. Elements from both documents will be discussed at the workshop. The Notice of Public Workshop and the attached document can be found on the Board’s website: http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/centralvalley/water_issues/salinity/index.shtml
As additional materials become available the Board’s website will be updated.
