September 15, 2015 Deadline for WODCON XXI’s Call for Papers

September 15, 2015 is the “Call for Papers” deadline for WODCON XXI. In June of 2016, WEDA will host the World Dredging Congress (WODCON), the only worldwide conference dedicated exclusively to dredging and maritime construction. This monumental event only occurs in the Western Hemisphere every 9 years, so don’t miss the opportunity to showcase your technical paper to a world audience. WODCON XXI will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Miami, FL from June 13-17, 2016. All conference information will be distributed and posted on WEDA’s website once it’s available. Interested authors are encouraged to submit their one page abstracts (less than 400 words) before September 15, 2015. The notification of acceptance and full author instructions will be send out on October 15, 2015. The abstracts must contain a descriptive title; author(s) contact information (name, company, address, phone, email). Abstracts are to be emailed to the chair of the respective regions (WEDA, CEDA, & EADA). For authors from the Americas, their region is WEDA.

The Technical Papers Committee will review all abstracts and notify authors of acceptance and provide final manuscript instructions for production of the WODCON proceedings on CD’s. If your abstract is accepted, one or more of the authors must register, attend the WODCON XXI, and give the presentation in English. One full registration with payment must be made when the draft manuscript (technical paper) is submitted.
