Blue Earth Consultants, LLC is Pleased to Announce the 
Addition of Dr. Christina Sloop as Director
 
Dr. Sloop is a published expert in wetland and watershed science with experience in natural resource management and climate change adaptation planning. She also has a proven track record of conceptualizing and leading results-oriented, inter-disciplinary processes and programs linking science to decision-making. Click here for her full bio.
 
As Director at Blue Earth Consultants, she will apply her expertise in conservation and restoration science and management, migratory bird conservation, climate change adaptation, ecology, Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation, structured-decision-making, project management, and multi-stakeholder coordination and facilitation to help develop and implement sustainable solutions that improve resource management and sustainable practices worldwide.
 
She will strengthen and expand our services to government, nongovernmental organizations, private foundations, and academic and research institutions in:
  • Monitoring, evaluation, and learning;
  • Strategic planning and communications;
  • Meeting design, stakeholder engagement, and technical facilitation;
  • Funding and long-term financing; and
  • Next/best practices.
She currently leads the coordination of a migratory wetland bird conservation and monitoring plan for the Oaks & Prairies Joint Venture and American Bird Conservancy and supports the 2015 Update of the California State Wildlife Action Plan and other projects for our clients.
