The State Water Board has updated its Drought Website to include information about the potential for curtailment of water rights in specific watersheds. The information should help those using these water sources to more accurately forecast this year’s supply. The curtailment analyses shown on the website graph projected water supplies and reported monthly diversions to project when more junior rights will need to be curtailed. The information presented is subject to change as new information is received or if the methodology used in the analysis is modified.
