On February 28, 2014, the State Water Board’s Executive Director approved a request from Petitioners (the Department of Water Resources and U.S. Bureau of Reclamation) to maintain the same Delta Outflow levels during March that were allowed during February under the February 7, 2014 Modified Order Approving a Temporary Urgency Change Petition for License and Permit Terms and Conditions Requiring Compliance with Delta Water Quality Objectives in Response to Drought Conditions (TUCP Order) .  The attached revision to the February 28, 2014 notice modifies the date by which the Executive Director of the State Water Board intends to further amend the TUCP Order from March 7, 2014, to on or about March 12, 2014.  The Executive Director and staff of the State Water Board will use this time to consult with interested parties and ensure that adequate information has been developed and analyzed to understand the operational  alternatives regarding carryover storage, export restrictions and the consequences of the alternatives.   The February 28, 2014 TUCP Order and February 27, 2014 request from the Petitioners are also attached.
