Your Guide to the Port of Redwood City’s PortFest, October 5

Your Guide to PortFest Activities Saturday October 5

On behalf of the Port Commission and Port staff, we hope to see you and your friends at PortFest this Saturday, October 5, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please forward this email to your friends.

This will be our fourth PortFest, and we are proud to showcase our working port and its recreational opportunities.

This is a news flash: We will have four Formula 18 high-performance catamarans (photo above) with an on-the-water demonstration from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. We just confirmed this over the weekend so I am happy to announce it. There also will be a catamaran dockside for public viewing. When this special performance is finished, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. World Champion Kiteboard Sailor Erika Heineken will perform on-the-water tricks.

Below gives you some highlights for Saturday. For up-to-date information and much more, please go to http://www.rwcportfest.com/ and click on Plan Your Day.

See you at PortFest.

Sincerely,

Lorianna Kastrop, Chair
Port of Redwood City Board of Commissioners
