Five IRWM strategic plan vision and goals setting workshops were conducted during April and May 2013. The workshops and stakeholder input received at the workshops are documented in the report, “Stakeholder Input on Vision and Goals”. Click here to view the report.
Workshop attendees developed over 180 goal statements, along with an extensive amount of input about the vision for the future of IRWM in California. Stakeholder input on the vision and goals will serve as the foundation for the strategic planning process as it progresses toward successively more detailed aspects of the future of IRWM in California.
Many of the goals identified by stakeholders at the workshops contained strategic objectives and strategies. The Strategic Plan Development Team is currently performing an analysis of the goal statements and input for the future vision. The results of this analysis, along with information on IRWM, will be provided to stakeholders in advance of the next round of strategic plan workshops, planned for October and November 2013. A “save-the-date” notice with the exact dates, times, and locations of the next workshops will be released shortly.
