1. The Coast Guard Environmental Standards Division has posted the Alternate Management System (AMS) acceptance letters on its Homeport website (see below for instructions).
The Coast Guard is posting these AMS acceptance letters after receiving numerous requests to do so. It also believes that providing copies of the letters is in keeping with the Coast Guard’s goal of providing transparency into the Ballast Water Management Program’s implementation efforts.
2. The Environmental Standards Division is transitioning on-line content from www.uscg.mil to the Coast Guard’s Homeport website, where content will be available under the “Environmental” mission tab on left margin of page.
You will also find tips for new users in the “Help” feature in upper-right corner of page.
