SETAC Annual Conference Offers A Chance to Learn About Toxicity Testing

The Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) annual conference scheduled for November 2012 in Long Beach, CA will feature a short course on the test of significant toxicity (TST) and a panel debate on the topic “Should Hypothesis Testing be Banned?” The conference program offers an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the concepts and science that went into the development of the TST statistical tool, presented by Dr. Debra Denton of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region IX and Bryn Phillips of the UC Davis Granite Canyon Laboratory. This forum offers a valuable opportunity for toxicology experts to engage and interact on a technical level with the developer and major advocate for the TST in a public forum. Learn more.
