South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project
Notice of a meeting of the Alviso Ponds/Santa Clara Working Group on the evening of Thursday, June 21, for a briefing on the Shoreline Study partners’ selected plan for flood risk management and ecosystem restoration in the Alviso area, which incorporates input received from area stakeholders. Information will be provided on the plan’s costs, economic and environmental benefits, and impacts. Members of the public will have an opportunity to provide input on future design and recreational features.
The meeting will start at 6:00 p.m. at the San Jose Santa Clara Water Pollution Control Plant at 700 Los Esteros Road, San Jose. All interested members of the public and local governments are invited to attend.
