USACE Releases Ports O&M Funding Draft Report

A “working draft” report from the Army Corps of Engineer’s Institute for Water Resources highlights the needs and lays out some possible options. Some of their options in the early report: “An infrastructure bank, HMTF allocations based on competitive grant programs, investment planning based on a national optimization model and expansion of authority of the HMTF for harbor deepening.” There are many ways to raise money: “Options for raising revenue are only limited by our imagination.” Check out the draft report: http://bit.ly/HUQruX
