From the Governor’s webpage: Robert Zachary Wasserman, 64, of Oakland, has been appointed chair of the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission. Wasserman has been a partner at Wendel Rosen Black and Dean LLP since 1996. He was a partner at Kennedy and Wasserman from 1984 to 1995. He is a member of the East Bay Economic Development Alliance, the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, and he served as a commissioner for the Port of Oakland Board of Commissioners from 1987 to 1990. Wasserman earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Stanford Law School. This position requires Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. Wasserman is a Democrat.
