Workforce Development Committee

Bolster your local workforce and boost economic development in the San Francisco Bay region. BPC invites you to get involved with its newly formed Workforce Development Committee, which aims to strengthen the region’s industrial economy by collaborating with organizations at the regional, state and federal levels to secure workforce development funds and grants for BPC members.

The first meeting is on Monday, June 26. If you are interested in joining the committee, please contact Policy Associate Betty Kwan at betty@bayplanningcoalition.org.

Spearheaded by Nick Ellis, Co-Founder & CEO of HIRABL and BPC member, the Workforce Development Committee was formed in 2017. Leveraging BPC’s broad and diverse membership, the Committee is working to promote industrial economic development in the San Francisco Bay region. This includes collaborating with other organizations at the regional, state, and federal levels, to secure workforce development funds and grants for BPC members to bolster their local workforce.

Industrial economic development is aligned with BPC’s mission to advance a strong industrial economy that supports a sustainable environment within San Francisco Bay and its watershed. If you are interested in participating in the Workforce Development Committee, please contact Policy Associate, Betty Kwan, by clicking here.
