Reformatted Water Quality Control Plans for the Central Valley Water Board

State Water Resources Control Board This is a message from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley (5).
Reformatted Water Quality Control Plans for the Sacramento River and San Joaquin River Basins and the Tulare Lake Basin (Basin Plans) have been posted on the Central Valley Water Board’s website at:
 
 
The new Basin Plans include all amendments that have been adopted and fully approved as of May 2018 and include the following amendments that were fully approved after July 2016:
 
  • Resolution R5-2014-0041 Amendment to the Water Quality Control Plan for the Sacramento River and San Joaquin River Basins for the Control of Diazinon and Chlorpyrifos Discharges which became effective on 16 August 2017.
 
  • Resolution R5-2017-0032 Amendment to the Water Quality Control Plan for the Tulare Lake Basin to Remove the Municipal and Domestic Supply (MUN) and Agricultural Supply (AGR) Beneficial Uses for Groundwater within a Designated Horizontal and Vertical Portion of the Tulare Lake Bed which became effective on 26 December 2017.
 
  • Resolution R5-2017-0106 Amendments to Reformat the Water Quality Control Plan for the Sacramento River and San Joaquin River Basins and Water Quality Control Plan for the Tulare Lake Basin which became effective on 24 May 2018.

  • Water Quality Control Plan for the Tulare Lake Basin, Third Edition, May 2018
